What should my grade be?

I think my grade should be a B+ because this report card I've have been inconsistent with my work. I have been on and off with handing things in on time but have handed everything in when you asked for it. I grade myself a B+ because I try to reach for high standards. I haven't been the best this report card but I don't think my attitude effected my effort towards my work. This should be my grade because of these reasons.

Biography of August Wilson

I am going to be talking about August Wilson. I am writing about August Wilson’s early life. I also am writing about his works through his life. I will also write about my reaction to August Wilson’s life and works.
August Wilson was a self-educated person, so he taught himself most things he knows. He grew up in a 2-bedroom apartment in a racially mixed region of Pittsburg known as The Hill. He attended Gladstone high school until he dropped out in 1916 because he was unjustly accused of plagiarism. In 1969 he began his first year attempt of drama.
August had a lot of great works. He got 8 produced plays; chronicle The History of African American Culture. August published a poem for Malcolm X. He made a few plays. Some names were Fences, Two Trains Running, and Joe Turner’s Come & Gone. Two Trains Running had a nomination of Broadway’s Highest Honor the Tony Award. During his time he was the only African American playwright to have two plays on Broadway at the same time. In 1989 August Wilson became only the 7th playwright to win a second Pulitzer Prize. He got 7 New York Drama Critic Circle Awards. After a while August Wilson won the Tony Award.
My reaction to August Wilson was that he inspired most African-Americans to be whatever they can be. He had great accomplishments and that can motivate people to reach for the best things. August Wilson stood firm against the segregation for a long time. He was a huge icon for African-Americans.
August Wilson had amazing accomplishments. He had very rough life with the school. He was not going to be intimidated by the segregation threats. He stood firm against them and succeeded in his life. His accomplishments are the proof of what he did.

My Phlosophy

My philosophy of the government is that it is needed for several reasons. One is because people will go crazy if we didn't. I have seen it in my class. We were testing the human nature of what happens when you are mot given an order. But the government needs to stay out of our business and let us live. We think we are not being watched but the government even knows when we go to sleep.
